Shale Grey Colorbond Roof & Skylights in Frenchs Forest NSW

Shale Grey Colorbond Roof & Skylights in Frenchs Forest NSW

Project Description

Colorbond Roof & Skylight Installation in Frenchs Forest NSW

This is a photo of the completed roof of an addition to a home in Frenchs Forest, NSW. The roof was finished with Shale Grey Colorbond corrugated metal roofing. Skylights were also installed on the new portion of the roof to provide additional natural light.

I completed a roofing job on a home addition in Frenchs Forest. The client had three requirements for their new roof. They wanted a roof that would match their current roof, be able to withstand the weather of Sydney, and allow more light into the addition.

We used Colorbond corrugated roofing in Shale Grey. It’s a light, neutral colour that suits both modern and traditional homes, and the corrugated profile gives a clean, classic look. Whether it’s a house extension or a full Colorbond roof replacement Sydney homeowners can rely on, Colorbond steel is lightweight, durable, and built for Australian conditions.

In addition to bringing in additional natural light through the installation of skylights in the new portion of the home, we also added skylights in the roof. Skylights can provide enough natural light during the daytime to reduce the reliance on artificial lighting, which helps create a brighter and more open feeling within the room. Each skylight has been installed with correct flashing and sealant to ensure the roof remains sealed against water penetration at each opening.
